CommTech Global is proud to welcome our new Director of Field Services, Joe Nixon to our fast-growing private company. In his new position at CommTech Global, Joe will manage and supervise business activities while formulating policies and setting objectives for the company.

“I’m excited to oversee and coordinate inspection personnel at CommTech Global,” said Joe Nixon, “as well as daily performing inspections while working directly with clients to meet inspection requirements.”

Joe gained a great deal of experience over the last decade as Supervisor of Facilities and Inspection at Lake Superior Consulting, in Duluth, Minnesota. Prior to his tenure at Lake Superior, Joe received his Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering while working as a pipefitter apprentice. He then continued to spend the next 10 years as a pipefitter before working at Lake Superior, and eventually CommTech Global.

As for advice for companies interested in hiring a third-party field services vendor, Joe explains, “There are other options for inspection personnel outside of the large service providers, with dedicated and talented team members that care about the success of each project and client they support.”

Joe resides at CommTech Global’ s (office opening soon) Duluth location, where he currently lives with his wife Stephanie and their two children Colin and Grace. Joe enjoys hockey, golf, and fishing at his family cabin north of Duluth.
